Otuoke Journal of Medical Laboratory Science (OJMLS) is a visionary and forward-looking, peer-reviewed, university-based journal with a focus on publishing high-quality journals encompassing all aspects of medical laboratory science and more. The journal believes in harnessing Nigerian and African intellectual resources as potent tools in developing the continent and is positioned to play critical roles in this regard by encouraging and facilitating the publication of research that will impact positively the scientific and economic enhancement of the continent. It is primed to provide fertile grounds and an enabling environment for interactions between young, aspiring contributors, including students, and the older established academics, researchers, and professors, to document their research
for posterity and human development. Medical Laboratory Scientists and researchers in academic institutions, research organizations, healthcare settings, and allied fields are welcome as contributors. Globally and across the continent medical laboratory science research is diverse and rapidly evolving with old techniques giving way to new technologies and great ideas; the changes require to be captured, documented, and communicated by visionary and forward-looking journals with a good grasp of the future; but without losing grip on the past. OJMLS is fully prepared to fill this gap with an assemblage of thoroughbred professionals working on the bench and the classrooms, and well-versed in their various fields as editors and reviewers.
