This study investigated the influence of perceived library resources and the library study environment on students’ academic achievement at Niger Delta University. Two research objectives, research questions and hypotheses were developed for the study. A descriptive survey design was adopted, with 125 students participating. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed using descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis. Findings revealed that students agreed that the strategic utilisation of library resources, including core textbooks, scholarly journals, reference manuals, theses, dissertations, and technical reports, influences academic achievement, with a grand mean of 3.46. Similarly, students acknowledged that a well-organised, quiet, ventilated, and ergonomically designed library study environment positively influences learning, with a grand mean of 3.46. Regression analysis further indicated that both perceived library resources and the library study environment influence students’
academic achievement. The study concluded that both library resources and the study environment influence students' academic achievement, and recommended expanding resources, maintaining a conducive environment, promoting effective utilisation, and integrating library use into academic activities.
